On October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorist fighters broke through the protective security wall dividing Gaza and Israel and perpetrated the largest mass slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust. More than 1,200 people were killed in the attack, with thousands more injured and nearly 250 people taken hostage back into Gaza.
The attacks at Kibbutz Be’eri, the town of Sderot, and the massacre at the Nova Music Festival left entire families devastated and was the start of the war between Israel and Hamas that has continued for more than 10 months.
