Hillel International brought together more than 150 students from its Israel Leadership Network (ILN) for the eighth annual Israel Summit, hosted by Penn Hillel. The gathering focused on leadership, connection, and education, celebrating pride in Israel and joyful Jewish life. Participants learned from experts and peers as they engaged in panels, storytelling, and conversations centered on student experiences and combating antisemitism.

Hillel International’s Student Leadership Passport program brought over 60 Jewish student leaders from around the world to ADL’s annual “Never Is Now” summit, a gathering that included four thousand attendees focused on combating antisemitism. The Leadership Passport offers students access to major Jewish communal spaces, where they share firsthand campus experiences and engage in conversations about the future of Jewish life.

Stanford University students pitched startup ideas focused on social and environmental impact as part of a Hillel-sponsored entrepreneurship competition with a $30,000 prize. The contest invited undergraduates to submit business plans aligned with the Jewish value of tikkun olam, or repairing the world. The winning project used artificial intelligence to help identify wildfire risks, highlighting the competition’s focus on innovation and real-world impact.

The Black-Jewish Unity Dinner Series, hosted in partnership with Hillel International, Blue Square Alliance Against Hate, and UNCF, brought students from North Carolina colleges together for a gathering aimed at creating dialogue and confronting antisemitism and racism on campus. Over a shared meal, Black, Jewish, and Black and Jewish students discussed their identities and experiences, built relationships, and explored ways to address hate.

Hundreds of students gathered at the University of Central Florida’s Memory Mall for a block party celebrating Jewish and Israeli culture. The event, hosted by UCF Hillel, featured food, music, games, and cultural activities designed to introduce students to Jewish traditions.

Hillel Jewish University Center of Pittsburgh (JUC) launched a five-week program called Inside Israel, bringing together students from the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University for dinner and discussion about Israel’s politics, society, and regional dynamics. Led by University of Pittsburgh students Eden Brunner and Tamar Franbuch, the program encourages participants to explore complex issues and engage with different perspectives in a respectful setting.
